Aurora 101 recorded a superb 3rd place in the challenge class. Averaging 85km/h, the new solar car was hot on the heels of the eventual winner Nuna, from the Netherlands, (90.9km/h) and the Umicore team from Belgium (88.1km/h). The team is also proud to have picked up the 'Spirit of the Event' award.

Sister team, Aviva Southern Aurora, also put in a strong performance taking 3rd place in the Adventure class with an overall average of 73.6km/h.
